Dhaka: In the last 24 hours, 5 more people have died from the corona virus in the country. A total of 6,253 people have died, the lowest since May 8 last year.
The last death was reported on May 7 of last year by the Department of Health. And on January 29, seven people died in Corona.
404 people have recently been identified. The total number of victims is five lakh 39,975 people.

He said 422 people, including asymptomatic patients, have recovered in the past 24 hours at various hospitals and homes across the country, including Dhaka City. So far, a total of four lakh 8,393 people have recovered. Samples have been collected and tested in 210 laboratories under government and private administration throughout the country. Of these, 118 are RT-PCR laboratories, 29 are gene experts, and 85 are fast antigens. In these laboratories, 14,114 samples have been collected in 24 hours. A total of 14,326 samples have been analyzed in the past. So far 38 lakh 22,345 samples have been tested.
It was further reported that in the last 24 hours, the sample testing rate was 2.62 percent. So far, the detection rate is 14.13 percent, the recovery rate is 90.06 percent, and the death rate is 1.53 percent.
In the notification, Nasima Sultana said, of the five people who died in 24 hours, four were men and one was a woman. Among them there are four in the Dhaka division and one in the Chittagong division. Five of them died in the hospital.
The age analysis of the dead shows that there are three people over 60 years old and two people between 51 and 60 years old.
He said that in the last 24 hours, 61 people have reached isolation and 56 people have been exempted from isolation. So far, 99,006 people have arrived in isolation. 69,084 people have come out of isolation. There are currently 10,092 people in isolation.
