Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that many people criticize the Health Ministry. But I think the Ministry of Health has shown sufficient efficiency. And we were able to keep this Kavid-19 under control because the things that were urgently needed at the time were done correctly.
He spoke at the Ministries and Departments Annual Performance Agreement (APA) signing ceremony for the 2020-2021 fiscal year and the Ganobhaban APA and Integrity award on Thursday. The Prime Minister participated in the event by joining the conference room of the Ministry of Public Administrations via virtual from Ganobhaban.
Addressing civil servants, the Prime Minister said: “Coco will not be able to work if we pay attention to who will say what and who wrote what.” You have to have your own faith, you have to have confidence in yourself. Is that what you are doing right? If you have that confidence, the people of the country will get the result of your work.
The Prime Minister said disaster will come, Bangladesh is the place of disaster. But we have to move forward to deal with that disaster. The incentive packages that we begin to give are so that our economy is not hampered or dynamic, but no country in the world has been able to give us before. We are the first.
Sheikh Hasina said: “We must always bear in mind that everyone is risking their lives, many doctors have died, nurses have died, health workers have died.” But they all worked. There is a class of people in our country, it is customary to criticize them. After drinking lime, they will talk a lot, but they won’t do anything on their own.
Addressing officials, Sheikh Hasina said: “I think whether we are on the right track depends on our confidence in ourselves.” When everyone works, do it with confidence. Who said what, who wrote what, you can’t do anything if you listen to it. You have to have your own faith, you have to have confidence in yourself, whether you are doing the right thing or not. If there is that trust, the compatriots will get the result of that work. That’s what I mean.
