So far no victims have been reported. A committee has been formed to find out why the explosion happened.

The military depot is located on the outskirts of the city of Zarqa, according to the official statement. Where the explosion occurred, there were mortars, ammunition, which can no longer be used. Since this place is outside the city and uninhabited, the common people were not harmed. But not this deposit, there are a few more military buildings.

The people of Zarqa posted photos and videos showing the explosion smashing their windows. Understandably, the intensity of the explosion was overwhelming.

The epicenter was reported 25 kilometers (25 miles) from Amman. In the past, there have been several explosions in Zarqa at old ammunition depots. However, this time the intensity of the explosion was very high. Source: Deutsche Welle
