Popular comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachia were released on bail in a drug case.
An NDPS court in Mumbai granted Bharati and Harsh bail on Monday (23 November).
Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachia were in judicial custody after their arrest in a drug case. The Harsh and Bharati bail hearing will be held on Tuesday.
Lawyer Atul Sarpande said that a request was made to postpone the hearing of the Bharati and Harsh case. Even after that request, the hearing was held on Monday and Bharati and Harsh obtained bail.
Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) recovered cannabis from the Mumbai home of Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachia. The television star couple were later arrested. After the arrest, Harsh-Bharati was placed in judicial custody.
Meanwhile, after Bharati and Harsh’s arrest, NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede and his team began a search in Mumbai’s Goregaon on Monday. Two people were seriously injured when a group of drug traffickers attacked the OCN agents there. Later, the situation was brought under control with the help of the Mumbai police.
