Joypurhat: At least 10 passengers were killed when a train collided with a bus in Joypurhat. Six people were injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, railway communication with the northern region has been closed since the accident.
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday (December 19). The Joypurhat Deputy Commissioner confirmed the truth of the incident. Islam Shariful.
He told banglanews that so far 10 bodies have been recovered after the accident. The injured were rescued and sent to Joypurhat Modern Hospital. The victims are bus passengers. The matter is being investigated. 
Fire service officer Sirajul Islam told banglanews that the train that left Parbatipur in the morning was heading for Rajshahi. On the other hand, a passenger bus from the district’s Panchbibi entered the gate of the Puranapail railway on its way to Joypurhat. At that moment, the Uttara Express bound for Rajshahi reached the bus. Ten people died on the spot. Six people were injured. The identities of the victims were not found.
Meanwhile, the local police administration, BGB and the fire service are conducting rescue operations at the site.
