The party presidium member HM Ershad told bdnews24.com that he had sent his resignation letter in certified mail together with Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader on October 10.
During his student life, the leader of the Chhatra League, the then Vice President of Iqbal Hall at Dhaka University, Masud Parvez Sohail Rana, was also associated with the Awami League.
In 2009, he abruptly joined the Jatiya Party and became a member of the party’s presidium. He was also in charge of the electoral adviser to the then party chairman Jatiya Ershad.
Sohail Rana was also appointed Central Chairman of the Jatiya Sanskritik Party. He also left that position.
Sohail Rana told bdnews24.com that the reason for her decision was that she did not adequately evaluate grassroots workers and underestimated dedicated leaders across the country.
“Those who are now in the party do not say they are bad, but there are more dedicated and educated workers in the party than they. They were not evaluated. Trinamool workers are also disappointed with this. I’m suffering. That is why I have resigned ”.
Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader and General Secretary Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu were called but did not respond.
Jatiya Party Chairman Sunil Shubh Roy said: “I have not heard anything about it yet. I don’t know when he sent his letter of resignation.”
The movie star said that although she left the Jatiya Party, she is not leaving the field of politics now.
He said: “It is difficult to say when it will happen. I am aware of politics, I will be involved in politics.”
Masood Parvez was born on February 21, 1948. In addition to being a filmmaker, he is also a producer and director.
Sohail Rana entered the film world as the producer of Bangladesh’s first full-blown liberation war film, ‘Ora 11 Jan’. He has won the National Film Award three times.
