Masood Parvez (Sohail Rana), a member of the Jatiya Party presidium, resigned from the party. He himself informed the media that he had sent his resignation letter by certified mail together with Jatiya Party chairman GM Quader on October 10.
Explaining the reason for his resignation, he said: “I will say that the reason for my resignation is not to properly evaluate grassroots workers and underestimate dedicated leaders across the country.”
He added that those who are now in the party do not say they are worse, but there are more dedicated and educated workers in the party than they. They were not evaluated. Trinamool workers are also disappointed with this. I’m suffering. So I quit.
It is worth mentioning that in 2009 he accidentally joined the Jatiya Party and became a member of the party’s presidium. He was also in charge of the electoral adviser to the then party chairman Jatiya Ershad. He was the central chairman of the Jatiya Sanskritik Party. However, Sohail Rana has also left that position.
Sohail Rana was the leader of the Chhatra League and the then Vice President of the Iqbal Hall at Dhaka University.
