China has sent a warning message to the Indian media on the Tibet issue. The country has said that all issues related to Tibet are very sensitive. Therefore, a neutral and transparent position should be adopted.

Outgoing US President Donald Trump has signed a bill requiring Tibetans to seek approval from China or any other country to elect the next Dalai Lama.

China later claimed that the Indian media had supported the American law. At the same time, India is intervening in Tibet.

The Chinese embassy in Delhi has issued a stern statement on the matter.

Embassy spokesman Ji Rong said they expect at least some Indian media outlets to take a neutral and transparent stance on China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Chinese call Tibet Jiang.

Rang further said that while covering news on highly sensitive topics like Jiangxi, Jiangxi’s economic and social development would be impartially scrutinized so that India-China bilateral relations could progress. Bilateral relations will be further damaged if the Tibetan card is played in China’s internal affairs.

He also said that in the 2003 Declaration on the Principles of India-China Relations and Comprehensive Cooperation, Delhi recognized the Tibet Autonomous Region as a Chinese territory.
