Paolo Roberto Oliveira, a volunteer, receives the coronavirus vaccine produced by the Chinese company Sinovac Biotech at a hospital in Porto Alegre, Brazil, last month.
China will provide free doses of more than one lakh of corona vaccines in Bangladesh. This information was revealed by the New York Times report on Friday. Sui-Li Wei, a correspondent for the Times’ Beijing bureau, said in a report that the Chinese company would carry out a trial of 4,200 healthcare workers in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
The neighboring Philippines will soon receive the corona vaccine from China, according to the report. Latin American and Caribbean countries will receive a £ 1 billion loan from China to buy the vaccine. Bangladesh will receive more than one lakh of dose from a Chinese company.
The report gives a detailed idea of how China seeks to improve friendship through vaccines from Asia to Africa. Four vaccines from China are in the third phase of the trial. No other country in the world has received so many vaccines in the third phase of the trial.
The government of Bangladesh has already given ICDDRB permission to test the Sinovac vaccine. The company has been saying for a few days that the test will officially begin very soon.
