Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a two-hour, 20-minute meeting with Chinese Defense Minister Wei Feng in Moscow on Friday to resolve border tensions.
The two have gone to Moscow to attend the conference of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The two leaders held a bilateral meeting on their border at the end of the day on the sidelines of the conference.
At the end of the meeting, it was reported that New Delhi had agreed to work with Beijing to reduce tensions.
A statement from the Indian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that the two sides had agreed that neither side would do anything to further complicate the situation or increase tensions in the border area.
