It has been reported that a fourth-year student (9) was raped while collecting Kadam flowers in Khulna Terkhada Upazila. A police officer named Rezaul Islam (22) has been arrested in connection with the incident. The incident took place around 11 a.m. on Monday.
The home of the arrested policeman Rezaul Islam is in Terkhada upazila of Khulna. He works at Natore Police Lines.
The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of Terkhada Police Station, Swapan Kumar Roy, and the Officer-in-Charge of the Special Branch of the District Police Superintendent, Abdur Rashid, confirmed the incident.
According to the police, the child’s father has filed a case under the Prevention of Abuse of Women and Children Act. Sheriff Rezaul Islam has been arrested in the case.
The boy’s father said that Rezaul works at Natore. You recently came home from vacation. His daughter went to put flowers on the fence next to Agent Rezaul’s house. At this time Rezaul showed greed to the girl by planting flowers from the tree. He then lured her into his home and raped her. On the way home, the girl told her mother all the facts.
OC Swapan Kumar Roy added: ‘Agent Rezaul has been arrested. The boy has been admitted to the OCC of Khulna Medical College Hospital. The matter is being investigated.
