The chairman of the Dhaka University Unit of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, Sanjit Chandra Das, has expressed his outrage at the anti-rape program at the foot of the Raju anti-terror sculpture today (Sunday).
He said the student movement of the Islamic regime has been carrying out a series of programs to realize the rights of students on campuses across the country, while respecting the country’s independence, sovereignty, customs and traditions. Isha’s student movement is not only respectful of community harmony and law and order in the country, but also a fearless watchdog.
He added that Sanjit Chandra Das was trying to provoke the community by insulting Islamic politics at a time when the politics of murder, rape and destructive politics were being exposed to students.
At the same time, he said, the Isha student movement has always had the highest respect for women and is committed to guaranteeing women’s rights. So in barbaric incidents like rape, we have always been and are at the forefront of protests in the streets.
Referring to Sanjit Chandra Das’s call for the confrontation as a clear manifestation of terrorism, he said the incidents by BCL’s hammer and helmet forces were nothing new.
At the same time, he warned that the Isha student movement is an organization of ordinary university students. If you try to turn the open space of all opinions and thoughts into a hotbed of terror, ordinary students will immediately declare you unwelcome.
