It has been reported that Rani Begum was forced to undergo a caesarean section after a normal delivery in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah. The incident took place in a private hospital and diagnostic center in the city of Kaliganj.
Maternity husband Al-Amin filed a written complaint with the Kaliganj Police Station on Wednesday morning. Rani Begum is the wife of Al-Amin from Kayargachhi village in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila.
According to the written complaint, Rani Begum was admitted to a private hospital and diagnostic center in Kaliganj on the night of December 15 when her labor pains began. Dr. Roxana Parveen Ellora, who was present at the time, said the operation had to be done quickly. Otherwise, motherhood and the child cannot be saved.
At that time, a 12 lakhs contract was signed for the operation. Shortly after, the patient was taken to the operating room but a child was born by normal delivery before César. Even then, the doctor and manager Masud Hossain underwent a cesarean section. When the maternity operation was interrupted, the manager slapped the patient several times and said, “Do you understand more than the doctor?” If I talk too much, I’ll put you to sleep forever. Then Caesar forcibly anesthetized him.
“My wife was beaten and operated on unnecessarily,” said Al Amin, the maternity husband. I demand justice for my sick wife, who was inhumanely beaten and threatened with death.
The accused doctor and manager Masud could not be found at the private hospital. However, the owner of the hospital Feroz Hossain said that the baby was born normally. However, the patient was bleeding profusely. As a result, Caesar was performed to stop the bleeding.
Kaliganj OC Mahfuzur Rahman Police Station said: I have received the complaint. Doing research. Necessary action will be taken if you are found guilty in the investigation.
