Dhaka: A case has been brought against a taxi driver named Monirul Islam (34) for allegedly raping two people in Hazaribagh. Police arrested the defendant Monirul Islam in the incident.
The two women presented the case at the Hazaribagh Police Station on Thursday (October 1) morning.
The Hazaribagh Police Officer in Charge (OC) said. Sajidur Rahman told banglanews that the victim learned of two women (the wife of the husband’s brother). One of them met Monirul five or six months ago. Monirul raped the woman by trapping her in a relationship. Monirul then became acquainted with his possession through that woman. The two women have alleged that they took her to different places from time to time and raped her.
He added that the two women arrived at the police station in the morning and presented a case. Before that, they arrested the accused and took him to the police station. He has been shown detained in the case. The two women have been admitted to the One Stop Crisis Center (OCC) at Dhaka Medical College Hospital for a medical check-up.
