Mir Masum, one of the Souls Band members and music director, has brought a case against Hero Alam. He has filed a case against Hero Alam under the Digital Security Act for stealing and distorting the title, lyrics and melody of the popular song ‘Babu Khaicho’.
On December 8, attorney Didar-us-Salam filed the case against Hero Alam under Section 22-23-24 of the Digital Security Act in the Cyber Crimes Court on behalf of plaintiff Mir Masum. The lawyer said that the court had sent the case to the CID for investigation.
Mir Masum said: I saw my creation robbed and distorted. Hero Alam is also making money by distorting it again. It would not be correct to call it theft, but it is theft. What happened to me is an insult to any artist. I want his justice before the law and the state. Hopefully I’ll get justice.
However, Hero Alam says that there has been a lot of criticism about the song they released. It does not enter any kind of song. Even then they made the song. The word ‘Babu Khaicho’ is a common word on Facebook. Everybody writes. Did they become them because they put it in the song? First of all, I am not a singer, I am an amateur. It is not supposed to hurt anyone.
The simple drama ‘Babu Khaicho?’ It was released on YouTube on September 11. Within two months of its release, the view of the work has crossed 1 crore. Originally, the title track of this work sparked a heated discussion. Mir Maruf sang the lyrics to the song titled ‘Babu Khaicho’. Meanwhile, Hero Alam has also sung a song based on this song.
