The panel’s candidates have started a sit-in program demanding the announcement of the hiring through the government’s primary school assistant teacher panel. The event was held in front of the National Press Club on Sunday (October 11).
At the rally, the panel demanded the appointment of teachers and said that Mujibvarsha’s promise must be kept. The prime minister said that no one will be unemployed in the year of Mujib. Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate unemployment in the country by appointing teachers through a panel without giving notice of hiring in Corona. If a new notification is given, it will not be possible for millions of candidates to take the test according to the hygiene rules. On the other hand, if worthy candidates who have passed the exam are appointed through the panel, the shortage of assistant teachers in elementary schools will be eliminated and the work of ensuring quality education will be completed quickly. Because it will take about two years to recruit teachers with new notifications.
Abdul Quader, chairman of the organization’s central committee, awaiting the 2018 Primary Aide Teacher Recruitment Panel, said: “We have started the job program starting today.” Our movement will continue until the appointment is announced through the panel. If the appointment is not announced on the panel, I will announce a strict schedule on Monday (October 12). Abu Hassan, secretary general of the organization, Tania Tasnim, secretary for women’s affairs, Babul Munshi, vice president and Russell Ahmed, secretary for ICT affairs addressed the meeting.
Incidentally, 56,937 candidates who passed the two selection exams held in 2016 for the post of government primary school teacher have been demanding appointment as panel teachers for the past year.
Of these, 19,006 passed the government elementary school aide teacher hiring exam that was conducted in 2016 after suspension in 2014 and 36,148 passed the regular exam in 2016, requiring admission to the panel.
Following the movement of panel candidates who passed the suspended exam conducted in 2014 (conducted in 2016), panel candidates who passed the regular exam in 2026 began the sit-in program in front of the National Press Club on Sunday (October 11 ).
Meanwhile, Saleha Akhter, the convener of the aspiring organization, who passed the exam postponed in 2014 (conducted in 2016), said: ‘I have been conducting agitation and program for a year demanding the panel. We will soon rejoin the movement to demand the announcement of the panel in the year of Mujib. We have lost four years of life. Therefore, I would like to announce the panel to the Prime Minister to complete the appointment in the year of Mujib.
