The Minister of Education has asked students and their parents to take the university admission test in a coordinated or grouped manner for many reasons, including relief from suffering, financial savings and accommodation. Dipu Moni.

In a press release, the Ministry of Education said that the Ministry of Education and the University Scholarship Commission have been trying for a long time to take the university admission test in an integrated way or in groups.

He said that most universities had already reached a consensus on the issue. Honorable Chancellor of Universities, His Excellency the President has also made clear his intention in this regard. In a meeting with four vice-chancellors from four public universities today, it became even more important to take integrated or clustered college admissions tests to avoid the possibility of corona breakouts due to the large number of students traveling to different universities at the same time this year. The Education Minister urged the universities to come forward without delay with a positive decision on the matter.

The minister made the call while addressing a virtual meeting on the review of the university’s admissions process today.
At this time the Minister said that if we can do the admission test in the universities in a coordinated / group system, it will be a great gift for the students admitted on the occasion of the Mujib Year and the golden jubilee of our independence.

The Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni MP was also present at the virtual meeting chaired by the Vice Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, MP, Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education. Mahbub Hossain, Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Kazi Shahidullah, all other honorable members of the commission, the Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Prof. Maryland. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, Prof. Farzana Islam, Vice Chancellor of Rajshahi University Prof. Abdus Sobhan, Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering. The meeting paid tribute to the intentions of the three vice-chancellors of the universities established under the order of 73 and the vice-chancellor of the Bangladesh Engineering University, Hon’ble Acharya, to take appropriate measures to solve the problems of students and parents and especially to ensure transparency and quality. In consultation with the Academic Council and the Union of the respective universities to appeal, they again agreed to sit down with the Commission of University Scholarships and finalize the decision.
