England won the second game of the series against Australia thanks to a great tackle from Joss Butler. The English also won the three-game T20 series with this 6-wicket victory.

Butler hit from start to finish Sunday night and played 7 innings with 54 balls. This inning reached the goal of 156 runs with seven balls in hand.

English starter Johnny Bairstow received a hit in the third inning. Butler then became the epitome of patience and made an 8-race partnership with David Malan.

Innings were in jeopardy when Tom Banton and Eoin Morgan were fired after Malan was fired for 42 runs. But Butler got the team out of harm’s way by losing 3 wickets for 29 races.

England needed 17 runs to win the last two overs. Moin Ali made it easy with 10 2-ball runs. Butler then hit a massive six to lead the team to victory.

Previously, Australia lost 2 wickets by just 3 runs in the bowling alley for English bowlers. Ajira, who lost 3 wickets in 30 races, continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. Australian captain and starter Aaron Finch played 40 innings with 33 balls. 35 runs came from Marcus Stones’ bat.

England won the series 2-0 with a match in hand. The last game of the series will be played on Tuesday (September 6).
