Buses of 22 companies will circulate in the capital on route 42

Dhaka: Work is underway to reduce the capital’s route from 291 to 42. The scheduled buses will operate under 22 companies comprising 2,500 bus owners on these routes.

Also, buses coming from the Gazipur and Narayanganj districts adjoining the capital must stay at the terminal outside the city. This will reduce traffic congestion and reduce additional pressure on Dhaka.

He said that there are three terminals in the two cities of Dhaka, which is not enough, forcing most of the vehicles to park on the road.
