Suddenly, buses caught fire in different places in the capital Dhaka. A phone conversation about this was leaked after the incident. That has reached the hands of the forces of order.

The car that caught fire in front of the BNP office in Naya Paltan mentioned ‘Juba Dal’.

A woman by the name of Farida Yasmin informed BNP Vice President Nitai Rai Chowdhury about the arson. One of them was found to be a member of the BNP executive committee.

Farida: Dada Adab. I am Farida. I was stuck in the party office for so long. That car burned down when I was a kid. I come to the press conference at 11 o’clock, now I’m stuck here and it’s too late.

Farida: This is in front of the party office, the staff is burning the car. RAB, the police are cordoning off all the burned party offices.

Nitai: What car did you burn?

Farida: Personnel … Police personnel don’t have cars? The Juba Dal boys set them on fire.

Farida: In front of the party office. A car.

The bus caught fire in 9 places in Dhaka on Thursday. The fire broke out between 12 noon and 5:30 pm at Press Club, Gulistan, Motijheel, Nayabazar, Kantaban Junction, Shahjahanpur, Nayapaltan Bhatara Pragati Sarani, Coca-Cola Junction and Purbali Petrol Pump in the Motijheel area.

The fire was brought under control thanks to the efforts of fire service personnel. The bus that caught fire in the Kantaban area burned down completely. The others were partially burned. However, no casualties were reported.

Police and transportation officials said that, as before, the criminals climbed onto the passenger base, set the back of the bus on fire and quickly got out.

Security has been tightened in the capital after the fire. Several squads of policemen and water cannons were deployed in front of the BNP headquarters from noon onwards.

The police are also on alert on the surrounding roads and alleys. On the other hand, after setting the bus on fire, the police arrested 9 leaders and activists in front of the BNP office of Naya Paltan.

The Deputy Commissioner of DMP’s Motijheel Division, Jamil Hasan, confirmed the matter. However, he said, not in front of the BNP office. They were arrested in the vicinity accused of burning cars.
