A housewife named Iti Rani (18) disappeared by the hand of her boyfriend 17 days after their marriage, saying that she was going to the bathroom in Taltoli, Barguna.
Iti Rani fled her father-in-law’s home in the Malipara area of the upazila around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
According to family sources, Sujan Karmakar, son of Jhantu Karmakar from the Malipara area of Taltoli upazila de Barguna, married Iti Rani, daughter of Asim Shil from the Amragachhia area of Mirzaganj upazila district of Patuakhali on 12 December.
