Breaking: Sona Mohapatra criticizes Ram Gopal Verma for his sexist comment

Daily Digital Desk News: Liquor stores have been opened across the country on the instructions of the central government. After a long wait, the liquor lovers finally left Huff alive! Then the crowd has gathered in front of the liquor store. On the one hand, liquor lovers are happy with this government decision. On the other hand, some sections of the general public, from the star to ordinary people, see this decision as a “terrible danger” to the public. They also vigorously protested the decision of the Modi government. Amidst this situation across the country, Bollywood director Ramgopal Verma and singer Sona Mohapatra turned to social media to tweet.

While social media was buzzing with the opening of liquor stores, Ramgopal Verma became involved in the controversy by posting a post. The image shows women queuing in front of a liquor store. Those images may have come from different parts of the country. However, the title of this Ramgopal film has begun to be heavily criticized. Then some of the Internet users did not stop making jokes.

Ramgopal commented: “Who is queuing up in front of the liquor store? They are enough to save women from drunk men! The Bollywood director’s comments have sparked a storm of criticism of Netdunia. In today’s world, where educated men and women fight against gender inequality, how can one become a star and make such irresponsible comments on social media? Do women not have the right to drink like men? Many of those questions have come to Ramgopal.

On the other hand, Ramgopal’s tweet came to the attention of Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra and she retaliated by strongly reprimanding the director. “You really need to get more education, Ramgopal Verma. Then perhaps you can understand where this tweet of yours incites sexism and destroys people’s moral sense! Women have the same right to buy and drink alcohol as men. However, it is not desirable to resort to violence by drinking alcohol, regardless of gender! Sonar commented angrily.
