Don Bradman’s first test hat sold at auction. Peter Friedman, an Australian businessman, bought the limit for four and a half million Australian dollars. In Bangladeshi currency, it is around 2 crore 8 lakh 56 lakhs. The limit is now second on the cricket equipment auction list.

Bradman, the greatest batsman in cricket history, played his first tryout on November 30, 1928. He got his first baggy green hat in that match against England in Brisbane. That hat was sold at auction.

He passed Bradman’s hat to his family friend and neighbor Peter Dunham. Dunham was jailed in May this year on fraud charges. He was imprisoned for 6 years. Arrangements were made to return the money to those who had forged it through the auction. That’s why Bradman’s hat is up for auction.

Friedman said he would make the cap visible to cricket fans. “Bradman is a legend,” Friedman said. I will arrange for your cap to reach different parts of the country.
