The committee’s two-year term is four years. BNP’s mayoral candidate Shahadat is the chairman of the city committee in the city elections that were not held due to the coronavirus epidemic.
For now, the meeting discussed whether the new convening committee will have an impact on the city’s elections.

Gazi Siraj Ullah, deputy secretary of the city committee, told bdnews24.com that discussions had been held on how to organize the city committee. We also discuss how we can be successful in the mayoral election, how to activate inactive leaders and body organizations.

Nagar BNP has full committees in five thanas and 28 rooms of 15 thanas and 43 organization rooms.
