Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of BNP’s standing committee, has said that the party left by Shaheed Ziaur Rahman is mentally fragmented after 42 years and organizationally fragmented. There are teams, there is no match with anyone. We don’t like to play in the open field, we like to play at home. Because of this, BNP was unable to succeed in the move in the last 12 years.

He made the remarks at a Dhaka Krishak Dal district meeting at his office in Naya Paltan on Saturday (October 31).

Gayeshwar said the movement to remove the government will not be successful if the “domestic game” within BNP is not stopped. Domestic play means facing each other, belittling each other, defeating each other.

He called on the organization to move towards the movement forgetting the differences and increasing the spirit of cooperation between them.

The meeting was chaired by Krishak Dal’s joint coordinator, Nazimuddin Master, and chaired by BNP executive committee member Nipun Roy Chowdhury. Krishak Dal’s Member Secretary Hasan Jafir Tuhin, Dhaka District BNP President Dewan Mohammad were present at the meeting. Salahuddin, General Secretary Khandaker Abu Ashfaq, Vice President Tamizuddin Ahmed and others.
