Family and locals rescued him and took him to the hospital, where they left him in the emergency department. After a while, the doctor on duty came out of Chiranjit’s medical ward and pronounced the patient dead.
He complained that the victim’s aunt would not have died if she had seen the patient in time and administered oxygen.
“On my return from the hospital, the internal doctors attacked me, beat me and destroyed my motorcycle,” he said.
According to eyewitnesses from the hospital, the hospital vandalism incident occurred at a stage in the discussion between the patient’s relatives and the emergency department medical staff over the allegation of negligence by the doctor in the death of the patient.
At this time Dr. Chiranjit, Intern Doctor Habibullah, Employee Kiran, relative of patient Shahidullah and Jihad were injured. When word of this incident spread, the patient’s relatives and interns took a confrontational stance. There were persecutions between the two sides.
Excited internal physicians attacked Saidur, a relative of the patient who was behind the body. His motorcycle was smashed when hitting the rack. At that time, the police controlled the situation by carrying batons and took 7 internal doctors, including a doctor, from the scene to the Sadar police station. Later, however, they were released within an hour.

Jamalpur Sadar OC Police Station Rezaul Karim Khan said that the death of a patient at Jamalpur General Hospital had created an unpleasant situation. To defuse the situation, the police arrested six intern doctors, including a doctor, at the scene and took them to the police station. But the detainees have been released because no one has complained and the matter has been resolved through local leaders.
