The leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Pamela Goswami, was arrested in West Bengal with drugs. The BJP leader was arrested on a road in New Alipore, known as the elite area of southern Kolkata.
Cocaine was recovered from Pamela at the time of the arrest. His accomplice Prabir Dey was arrested at that time. India News Today.
Pamela broke out into the parking lot of her car near her home in New Alipore on Friday. The police arrested him there. New Alipore police claimed to have found a package of about 100 grams of cocaine in Pamela’s car.
Police said cocaine was recovered from Pamela Goswami’s purse. Cocaine was also found under the seat of the BJP leader’s car.
