Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda are concerned after the first two rounds of elections in West Bengal.
Former Union Minister and Vice President of All India Trinamool Yashwant Sinha said this at a press conference in Trinamool Bhaban on Saturday morning.
“I learned from sources this morning in Delhi that there was a meeting last night between the prime minister, the interior minister and the chairman of the Nddji party,” he said. The meeting discussed the situation in the states where the voting takes place. Voting in Bengal has also been debated. This is an internal party meeting, so there have been all kinds of exchanges. These three top leaders of the BJP have made a decision. In both rounds of voting, his performance will be disappointing. So with the remaining 6 points of the vote, they have realized that their performance will be worse.
He added: “The first two rounds were a great place of hope for them. At this meeting it was decided that the mental game you are playing here needs to be strengthened. Wherever possible, the level of lying should be increased.
Complaining that the BJP is spreading propaganda about Mamata’s candidacy knowing that defeat is certain, Yashwant said: “There is a rumor that Mamata Banerjee will compete from another location. At last night’s meeting, the party chairman, Naddaji, He asked for the campaign to be emphasized, and he also started to say that he had learned from sources close to Mamata that she would compete elsewhere. Submit nomination. We are also ready to deal with this false propaganda from the BJP in the coming days. Because the false propaganda of the BJP will intensify and sharpen. Its aim is to confuse the crowd by playing mind games. Lies and rumors will spread. The people of Bengal should be careful with this propaganda.
He further said: “The vote has taken place in Nandigram, where Mamata will win by a large margin. So it is not likely to stop anywhere else. The Indian Jhut party is spreading these rumors.
Expressing concern about the EVM change in Assam, Yashwant said: “We have seen what has happened in Assam. The mystery is that wherever the BJP thinks it will lose the vote, it is replacing the EVM. In elections where the BJP got less. votes, the EVMs will be replaced. One event has come before us, one more event will happen. It will be in both Assam and Bengal. So we told the staff to stay there until the EVM is locked in the safe. So no one can change the EVM on the road.
