BJP leaders have ridiculed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s slogan “Joy Bangla”. They reacted strongly to the slogan ‘Joy Bangla’ on Mamata’s face in the Legislative Assembly of India. BJP leaders claim that the ruling Trinamool party wants to make West Bengal a “Greater Bangladesh”!
BJP West Bengal Chairman Dilip Ghosh made the accusation in a post on social media on Thursday. He claimed that the ‘Joy Bangla’ sound given by Trinamool is the national motto of ‘Islamic Bangladesh’. Although Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was not named, Dilip complained at her post, “Hon’ble is fighting for a bigger Bangladesh.” Khabar Anandabazar, Times of India.
Also previously, the BJP had repeatedly accused Trinamool on the issue of “citizenship law” or “infiltration”, saying that the Trinamool wanted to turn West Bengal into “West Bangladesh”. The BJP refugee wing is also saying this in the Assembly election campaign.
Mohit Roy, the branch’s state convener, said Thursday: “It should be remembered that ‘Joy Bangla’ is the national motto declared by an independent state of Bangladesh.” The goal of using it in this state is to appease politics. Hidden in this motto is the separation of West Bengal from India.
BJP State Spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya said: “Remember, ‘Joy Bangla’ is the motto of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On April 11, 1971, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tajuddin Ahmed used the motto ‘Joy Bangla’ in his first radio address. However, in Bangladesh it is also used as a political slogan. People now understand why Honnia uses that slogan.
Although Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee did not address the rally, she sang “Joy Bangla” at the Victoria Memorial. Following the publication of Dilip, it has been speculated that the BJP, which is uneasy about the ‘Joy Sriram’ slogan raised in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Netaji celebrations in Jayanti, is using the ‘Joy Bangla’ slogan as a tool to retaliate. Dilip cited three incidents in his office as the argument for the attack, as Trinamool aims to build a bigger Bangladesh.
One, ‘Slogan of Bangladesh’ on Mamata’s face in Victoria.
Two. Bangladeshi actors in grassroots campaigns in the past.
Three. Trinamool initiative to bring cricketers from Bangladesh to Pujo.
During the last Lok Sabha elections, actor Ferdous campaigned in support of Trinamool’s candidate, Kanhaiyalal Agarwal, in Raiganj. In addition to filing a complaint with the Election Commission at the time, Dilip commented: “This time Trinamool will bring Imran Khan to the campaign!” That water flows away. In the end, Ferdous was blacklisted by the Union Ministry of the Interior. Dilip is not alone, the whole BJP talks about this.
Trinamool statement
Trinamool has vigorously protested after the appointment of BJP West Bengal President Dilip Ghosh. Party spokesman and former MP Kunal Ghosh said: “Now the BJP has become the ‘Great Trinamool’. That frustration is expressed in this post by Dilip Ghosh. ‘
Veteran Trinamool MP Saugat Roy commented: “I don’t think it is necessary to respond to Dilip Ghosh’s words.”
