He further said in the statement that “74 heroic freedom fighters, including 43 posthumously, were received at the function.” I don’t know if any of them are a heroic freedom fighter or not. Also, I don’t know anyone personally. But some people are criticizing the issue on Facebook. If there are any errors, then it is the responsibility of the authority of the program and the parliament of the freedom fighters. Because the list of honored freedom fighters has been made by the freedom fighters parliament and the event organizers. I have nothing to do with it.
Meanwhile, the Union of Sharifpur Muktijoddha Sangsad also said in a separate statement that a clique was campaigning for Shiuli Azad, a member of Parliament, at the reception. The Muktijoddha Sangsad has demanded that those who conspire to disrupt the reception of the heroic freedom fighters be identified and brought under the law.
