The attack took place on Friday (January 22) morning. The Syrian army has claimed that most of the missiles fired by Israel were shot down. According to Syrian military sources, Israel fired a series of missiles from warplanes in the morning in the Syrian province of Hama, near Lebanon. The four dead are members of the same family.

Israel has recently stepped up attacks on military installations in Syria. On January 13, Zionist Israel launched an attack on several Iranian-backed military installations in eastern Syria.
