Biden also beat Trump in Pennsylvania

Biden currently has 253 votes in the electoral college. If the Pennsylvania vote falls on him, he will receive the 260 electoral votes necessary to win.

Thousands of postal votes remain to be counted in Pennsylvania. The New York Times reports that most of the areas where votes are not yet counted are pro-Democrats.

According to Reuters, Biden is ahead of Trump by 5,058 votes, with 95 percent of the votes counted in Pennsylvania. So far around 6 lakh votes have been counted in the state. Biden received 49.4 percent of the vote and Trump received 49.3 percent. Trump was also ahead of this important state on Thursday.

This is the first time that Biden has defeated Trump in Pennsylvania since the polls closed.

Previously, Biden surpassed Trump in Georgia, a voting state in 16 polling stations. In this state, Biden is ahead of Trump by 1,098 votes, according to the BBC.

Trump cannot be defeated in Georgia if he wants to hold on to the White House. Plus Pennsylvania and at least two other states to win.

And if for the first time in history there is a ‘tie’, then the decision will be in Congress. Under the United States Constitution, the House of Representatives in Congress will decide in a vote who will be president.

A representative from each state can vote. The one who gets at least 28 votes will be the president. And the Senate vote will determine who will be vice president.

The election is not over yet, Trump’s campaign said

“The election is not over yet,” said Matt Morgan, Trump’s campaign attorney.

If the state wins, Joe Biden’s electoral vote will be 263, which means that he will reach the White House.

In this context, Matt Morgan from Trump’s camp said: “This false prediction of Biden’s victory based on the results of the four states is far from the bottom line.”

He complained that the ballots were not collected correctly in Georgia and that election observers were unable to observe the counting process properly, despite an order from a judge in Pennsylvania.

Morgan also did not agree with the predictions of some news networks that Biden would win in Georgia.
