Dr. Masuk said: “He introduced himself as the secretary of the BUET Chhatra League. He told me to take Abrar to Dhaka Medical College. I say that he is not alive, he is dead. There is no benefit to taking him to Dhaka Medical College. Instead, I hand it over to the police.
“Then Russell tells me, ‘Abrar isn’t dead, he’s asleep, he was asleep a while ago.’
The doctor who witnessed the incident said that Russell along with other students also took the body to the ambulance to send it to Dhaka Medical College.
He said: “So I was the rector of the hall. I called Zafar Iqbal Sir on my mobile phone and informed him of his death in Abrar. I told him to come soon. He left the hall at 10/15 minutes. “

Abrar’s body was lowered from the ambulance on a stretcher after the arrival of the president.
Dr. Masuk said: “The gurney was then brought to the ground floor terrace of the hall in Russell’s direction. At that time I took a sheet from a student and covered the body. Meanwhile, security officer Abul Kalam Azad arrived at the scene and called the police station. In 15/20 minutes, the police arrived at the scene and prepared the investigation of the body ”.

One of the state’s lawyers, Abu Abdullah Bhuiyan, said on Monday that the state would take the testimony of judges who took statements under section 164.
Police arrested Russell, a leader of the BUET student league, on October 6 after Abrar’s murder. Ten people were arrested the same day.
