People in France and Japan consider vaccines to be the safest. Nine percent of the people in these two countries believe the vaccine is safe. Researchers claim that there has never been such a large amount of research on how safe a vaccine is or how reliable it is.
Ethiopians not only consider vaccines to be important, they also say that vaccines are effective enough to prevent disease. Eighty percent of Ethiopians believe that the vaccine is effective in preventing disease. Eighty-five percent of the population of Bangladesh have the same idea. However, this idea is rare among the people of Morocco. Only 10 percent of people in the country believe that vaccines are effective in preventing disease.
Between 2015 and 2019, people in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines and South Korea lost confidence in the vaccine, according to the study. Between 2017 and 2019, trust among the people of Finland, France, Ireland and Italy has increased.
