Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to start regular flights from Bangladesh Biman to Saudi Arabia from January 8th. This information was provided on the Bangladesh Biman website on Sunday evening (January 3).
The decision was made by Biman Bangladesh when international flights in Saudi Arabia were resumed after the ban. Passengers on canceled flights are requested to contact the nearest Biman sales office according to the hours listed on the Biman website (www.biman-airlines.com). All these passengers will be assigned seats on a priority basis, subject to vacancies on the flight.
Previously, Saudi Arabia allowed international flights to the country. International flights resumed in the country on Sunday (January 3) at 11 a.m. local time. The country’s Interior Ministry confirmed the matter in a statement. At the same time, the ban on entering the country by road and water is lifted.
According to Arab News, the Saudi government banned all entry into the UK by road, sea and air on December 20 after a new type of crown was identified. After a few days, they have decided to lift the ban on Sunday. However, the travel ban has been lifted on a number of conditions to prevent new types of corona infections.
According to the government, if a non-Saudi citizen wants to come to Saudi Arabia from the UK, South Africa and other countries where new types of krona have been identified, they have to stay in another country for at least 14 days and then enter Saudi Arabia. After 14 days, the results of the PCR test will be needed to show if they are tax free.
Additionally, Saudi citizens who are allowed humanitarian or urgent entry must come to Saudi Arabia and be under house arrest for at least 14 days. They have to undergo the PCR test twice. The first time within 48 hours of entry into Saudi Arabia and the second time within 13 days of quarantine.
