Faridabad Police Officer OP Singh told NDTV that Tousif and Nikita knew each other. OP Singh also said that Tousif abducted Nikita in 2016. At that time, Nikita’s father had filed a complaint against Tousif with the police. The police arrested him on the basis of the charges. But Nikita’s father later dropped the accusations.
Nikita’s father told NDTV: ‘In early 2016, I accused Toussaint of harassing my daughter. The next time I picked up the complaint. Now they have killed my daughter. The National Commission of Women of India has collected information from video images found on the Internet. They have written to the Haryana police chief to arrest the other defendants.
