He lost consciousness and died instantly. The incident took place on Friday morning in the village of Padampur Shalbari in Ranishankail upazila in the Thakurgaon district of Bangladesh. The police have already arrested Jabeda. Jabeda is known to be the daughter of Mozammel Haque from the same village.

Ranishankail (OC) police officer Abdul Mannan confirmed the incident and said the university student was arrested and sent to jail. The body of the late Latif was sent to the morgue at Thakurgaon Adhunik Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. The OC said the university student was accused of killing a father of four by grabbing his testicles while trying to stop a fight in Thakurgaon.
