Wahida Khanam, an officer with Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi (UN) of Dinajpur, and his father Omar Ali were arrested in connection with the attack on a government residence, police said, adding that three more suspects have been arrested.
Ghoraghat Police Officer in Charge (CO) Amirul Islam told NTV Online at night: “Three more suspects were arrested in the Ghoraghat incident between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm on Saturday. They have been taken to the police station. Legal action will be taken against them after the initial questioning.
The three detainees are Shaon, Sultan and Shyamal Kumar.
