Another accused has been arrested in connection with the attack on Imam Hasan, president of the Sarishamuri Union (UP) in Betagi upazila of Barguna and deputy secretary of the Juba League of the district. His name is Khalilur Rahman. Police arrested him at Sarishamuri Union on Tuesday night. So far, the police have arrested three people in the case.
Three days after the attack, a case was brought against former union president Yusuf Sharif at the Betagi police station around 10 p.m. Monday, and 14 people were named, including the main defendant and his three sons. .
