En Over the past 14 days, 121 patients admitted to the Dhaka Medical School Hospital, suspected of being infected with coronaviruses, have died, of whom 17 have been confirmed to be infected with coronaviruses.
The director of the Brigadier General of the Dhaka Medical School Hospital, AKM Nasir Uddin, confirmed this information at first glance.
The admission of patients with a crown to the burn unit of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital began on May 2. AKM Nasir Uddin, director of the hospital, said: “In the last 14 days, 1,400 patients have been admitted to our hospital.” Of these, 121 died. Tests have confirmed that 16 people have contracted Kovid-19. Others may have been infected with a crown.
According to the Health Department, 125 corona patients admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical School Hospital have returned home healthy until May 13.
On March 6, the first crown patient was identified in Bangladesh. The first government-appointed treatment center for crown-infected people in Bangladesh is the Kuwait Maitri Government Hospital in Uttara, Dhaka. Later, coronavirus treatment was started in several hospitals, including Kurmitola and Metropolitan General Hospital. Crown treatment began at Dhaka Medical College and Mugda Medical College hospitals, among the top hospitals in the country. According to yesterday’s calculations, a total of 263 people died from a corona infection. A total of 18,063 people were infected. 3,361 people were recovered.
According to Dhaka Medical College Hospital authorities, an average of 30 to 40 patients died in the hospital every day before the coronary heart disease outbreak. The rate was 6.5 percent. However, the daily mortality rate has slightly increased since coronavirus-infected patients began hospitalization. It will be 10 percent.
Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin said: ‘10 percent of patients admitted to our hospital on suspicion of coronaviruses are dying. On average, 20 to 25 patients die every day after the admission of patients with a crown.
Corona is the second unit at Dhaka Medical
After the burns unit at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the hospital will launch another Corona unit starting tomorrow, Saturday. At least 650 patients will be admitted there and will be able to receive treatment. The second crown unit is known as the hospital’s medicine department.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital officials say children among suspected KVID-19 patients who may need surgery will be admitted to the hospital’s burn unit. On the other hand, those with diabetes, who are suspected of being infected with coronavirus, will be admitted to the Corona Unit-2 medicine department. The burn unit will be the coronary surgery department. The Unit-2 coroner will be the Department of Medicine.
Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin said: “We are launching a new 600-bed Corona Unit-2, where we will admit two classes of crown suspects and crown-infected patients.” We will test those who will be suspects. If the crown is positive, they will be taken to the positive covid zone. And whoever remains as a suspect will remain in the suspicious area. And if Corona is not positive, he will be released after recovering. The pressure on the combustion unit will be greatly reduced after the new unit is launched. Because most of the patients here are on medicine.
Regarding the provision of medical services to patients with a crown, the hospital director said: “We are doing everything possible to provide the best possible care to patients who are infected with a crown or are suspected of having a crown.” Those who are admitted to our hospital due to a corona infection suffer from many illnesses. In the treatment of these patients, someone must provide renal, cardiac, and blood support. And those who are older have many diseases. With this, after becoming infected with Kovid-19, they are becoming very weak. Again, their immunity is low.
