Barisal Police Deputy Superintendent Anisul Karim Shipon, who was beaten to death by staff at Mind Aid Hospital in Adabar, in the capital, was buried after Janaza.

His janaza took place at 8:30 am on Tuesday at the Rajbari field in the metropolis of Gazipur. Later he was buried in the central cemetery of the city.

The additional commissioner of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Md Azad Mia, the president of Kapasia Upazila Parishad, the lawyer Amanat Hossain Khan and senior officials from the district administration and the police department were present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Rezaul Karim, Anisul Karim Shipon’s older brother, has demanded exemplary punishment and justice for those guilty.

Rezaul Karim, the elder brother of the deceased, said his brother was killed when he went to the Jorpukurpar Baruda area of ​​Gazipur in the morning. The Prime Minister and the police IGP demanded a fair trial.

He added that Shipon was very repressed. He never said anything to anyone even though he was mentally stressed. They are two brothers and two sisters. He had some mental problems during the last days.

Anisul Karim married Shipon in 2011. His wife’s name is Sharmin Sultana. The couple have a four-year-old son named Safran.

Shipon passed the SSC in 2000 from the Rani Bilasmoni government boys’ high school in Gazipur. After passing HSC from Kazi Azimuddin College, he completed his master’s degree at Jahangirnagar University. He joined the police through the 31st BCS.

His father, the freedom fighter Faizuddin Ahmed, has filed a case with the Adabar police station in the capital over Shipon’s death.

Rezaul Karim said that his father’s home was in the Aral village of Sanmania union in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur, but that he had been living in a house in the Baruda area of ​​the city for about 40 years.

Shipon’s friend Kawsar Ahmed said Shipon was very talented since childhood. Shipon was very sociable and friendly.
