Dhaka: The High Court granted Dr. Nusrat Farzana advance bail in the murder case of Deputy Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anisul Karim.
After appearing in court on Wednesday (November 18), Judge Habibul Gani and the judge. The Riaz Uddin Khan High Court granted him bail until 5 January.
In the meantime, he will have to surrender to the lower court.
Lawyer Ruhul Quddus Kajal appeared for him in court. Deputy Attorney General Mahfuzur Rahman Likhan represented the state.

Anisul was taken to Mind Aid Hospital on November 9 at around 12:15 pm for treatment of mental problems. Shortly after being admitted to the hospital, the family complained that staff beat him to death.
Hospital authorities say staff were trying to calm him down because of his misconduct. A video of the beating was released in the aggressive administration room of the hospital after the incident.
As seen in the video, Anisul Karim was dragged into a room by between 6 and 7 people after entering the hospital. He threw it there and grabbed it. Arif Mahmud, the director of the hospital, was with them. Anisul Karim was hitting both elbows on the head. Anisul Karim’s hand was tied behind his back with a piece of cloth. When he was face down four minutes later, he slowly passed out and passed out.
Police arrested six people the day after the incident. Four more were subsequently arrested. The day after the incident, Anisul Karim’s father filed a murder case at the Adabar police station.
Anisul Karim, a student from the 33rd group of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Sciences at Jahangirnagar University, was appointed as a police officer in the 31st BCS. Anisul, father of one, lives in Gazipur. Most recently, Anisul was the Deputy Commissioner of the Barisal Metropolitan Police Traffic Department.
