Ashraful to auction one or two historic bats

All proceeds from the auction will be used to help distressed and helpless people.

Ashraful scored a century in his Test debut against Sri Lanka. I was only 18 years old then. As the youngest rookie in Cricket Test history, Ashraful scored a century in that match. The 35-year-old cricket player decided to auction off the bat he used in the innings.

Ashraful has had many match winning innings for Bangladesh in his career. However, the most memorable entries were in 2005 against Cardiff, Australia. Ashraful’s bat against the best team in the world at the time, Bangladesh earned a historic victory. Ashraful scored a century to reach Ajit’s 250-run target and paved the way for Bangladesh to win. Ashraful is also auctioning off the bat with which he played the historic innings. After winning that match, Ashraful kept a bottle of champagne in her collection for so long. Ashraful said he will also auction it off.

Speaking to Risingbd, Ashraful confirmed that he would auction off his bat. The star cricket player said: Had He had a bottle of champagne to celebrate after he won the match. I also planned to pick up the champagne bottle with the dough you played at the auction. I will also auction the bat I played in my debut in the test century. I still don’t know how or where the auction will take place. But I am working on this. All proceeds from the auction will be used to serve those in need.
