As a result, our military officers are leaving a great contribution to the maintenance of peace in different countries of the world and in every country our armed forces are being praised. When we hear this compliment, it really fills my chest with pride. I sincerely thank everyone for that. ‘

Noting that the whole world, including Bangladesh, is going through a ‘critical period’ due to the coronavirus epidemic, the prime minister said: “Our military is making a great contribution to raising awareness, supporting and helping the people of Bangladesh.” At that time he called the Bangladesh Army “People’s Army”.
