Sinha's sister, Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous and her lawyersMajor (Ret.) Sinha said. Cox’s Bazar Police Superintendent ABM Masud Hossain has been indicted in the Rashed Khan murder case by the plaintiff and Sinha’s sister, Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous. He filed the petition in the court of Cox’s Bazar Chief Judge Tamanna Farah around 12 noon on Thursday (September 10). The court is waiting for the order after hearing the request.

The plaintiff’s attorney, lead attorney Mohammad Mostafa, told a news conference: “Cox’s Bazar Police Superintendent ABM Masud Hossain has been obstructing the investigation into the murder of Major Sinha.” He has written to the dismissed OC Pradeep Kumar Das and Inspector Liaquat, charged in the Sinha murder case, to give them a division in prison. You will cooperate with the accused in various ways. In other words, SP ABM Masud Hossain is using the efficiency of his office on behalf of the accused. So I have filed a criminal application to include you as a defendant in the Major Sinha murder case. The court became aware of the request and waited for the order after hearing it.

Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous, plaintiff in the case and Major Sinha’s older sister, said: “SP ABM Masud Hossain has been cooperating with the defendants indirectly and directly since the beginning of the incident. He is abusing power. Major Sinha is slandering. At that time, the SP told the media that it had found yaba and drugs in Sinha’s car. As a superintendent of police, you cannot say. He constantly obstructs the investigation.

Sharmeen Shahriar Ferdous added: “My expectation for the court is that SP Masood will be included as a defendant in the case in light of these accusations.”

Note that on the night of July 31, on the way back from Teknaf to Cox’s Bazar, retired Major Sinha Mohammad was killed at the Baharchhara Police Research Center. Rashed Khan. On August 5, a murder case was filed in the Cox’s Bazar Superior Magistrates Court indicting nine individuals, including Teknaf Liakat Police Station Inspector and OC Pradeep Kumar Das.
