It has been decided to deploy Ansar to ensure the safety of the executive officers of 56 upazilas from 6 districts of Rangpur Division.
Rangpur Mountain Range Director AKM Ziaul Alam signed a circular instructing the department’s six district commanders.
It has been said that a total of 10 Ansars will be deployed in each upazila, including 1 PC, 1 APC and 6 Ansars.
The criminals broke the fan of the government residence at Ghoraghat in Dinajpur around 3pm on Wednesday and broke into the house and attacked UNO Wahida Khanam and her father, a freedom fighter. The assailants inflicted serious injuries with various weapons, including hammers.
