Another member of the Bangladesh police died of coronavirus while on duty. It is called Jalaluddin Khoka (48). He was working as an agent in the Eastern Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police. With this, 6 members of the Bangladesh police died from coronavirus.

Since then he has been receiving treatment at the Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital. When his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday (May 9) while he was in treatment there.
Agent Jalal Uddin’s village house is located at the Urahat Bhaluka Village Police Station in Mymensingh District. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son, as well as many relatives and admirers. The body has been sent to the house of the deceased’s town under the direction of the police. Janaza will be held there in the presence of senior district police officers. Later, the body will be buried in the family cemetery in accordance with religious rules.

Benazir Ahmed said the highest priority has been given to the treatment of police personnel affected by Corona. In addition to the Central Police Hospital and the Divisional Police Hospital, arrangements have been made for the treatment of police personnel in private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and the divisional cities. 118 police officers have already recovered and returned to their homes.
