Another 38 people have died in the last 24 hours in the country. Yesterday Sunday (December 6), the detection rate was 12.80 percent. Today it stands at 15.30 percent. In other words, the infection has increased by about 3 percent in one day compared to the sample test. And so far, the detection rate is 16.6 percent.

The Health Department said Monday that 14,793 samples had been collected in the past 24 hours and 14,793 samples had been analyzed with antigen tests. So far 26 lakh 8,538 samples have been tested.

According to the press release, the recovery rate in the last 24 hours is 83.09 percent and the death rate is 1.43 percent.
Of those killed in 24 hours, 24 were men and 12 women. So far 5,255 men and 1,619 women have died.
The age analysis showed that among the 36 people who died, 60 were over 21, 9 were between 51 and 60, 3 were between 41 and 50, 2 were between 31 and 40, and 1 was between 21 and 30.
Departmental analysis showed that the death toll was 25 in the Dhaka division, 6 in the Chittagong division and one in each division of Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Mymensingh.
In 24 hours, 32 people died in the hospital and 4 died at home.
