American poet Lewis won the Nobel Prize for Literature

This year’s Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to American poet Louis Gluck after years of controversy and sex scandals in a committee tasked with selecting the winner. The Swedish Academy announced the winner of the world’s most prestigious award on Thursday at 1pm local time in Sweden.
