Police arrested an ambulance driver for allegedly raping a young woman with a crown while being taken to hospital. The 25-year-old ambulance driver has already been removed from the ambulance service.
The incident took place on Saturday night amid a corona infection in India.
Police said the ambulance driver was taking two patients to two different hospitals. He first took an elderly woman to the hospital. The driver then took the boat to an empty field instead of the hospital. It is alleged that the girl was raped there.
